When to get Enhanced sticker for firearms permit

Am I understanding this right. You can go to any highway patrol office that does firearms business and get an enhanced sticker on any day that they are open for regular business and not on the designated firearms business day. Is that correct?

I understand the opposite - it must be during the designated firearm license hours. Should you call and find out for sure, please let us know.

Got mine on another day. Don't know if they changed or not though

My friend got his on Thursday at Brookhaven. They usually serve CCW permits on Monday

You can get the Enhanced sticker any day.

All they do is go into your file on the computer, changed a "No" to a "Yes" for Firearm Instruction, and then they put the sticker on crooked.

They must have changed it. When I got mine, you had to go on the day they did firearms permits. At least that's how it was in Batesville when this thing first started.

I got mine in New Albany on a Monday morning. I was in and out in about 15 minutes,.....

Well I failed to call today due to sickness. hopefully ill have answers tomorrow

In New Albany you can get the "IC" (In Church) sticker any day.

New Albany will "IC" you on any day they are open for business. A friend of mine got his yesterday. Don't know what time.

I got it today, tuesday. They do firearms business on Wednesday in New Albany. So now we know. I was in there less than 3 minutes. I was really surprised.

You can present the Enhanced Carry Certificate to the DPS office on any day Mon. through Friday that they are open and they will copy the certificate and place the Enhanced Carry sticker on the back of your permit carry card.

This was my experience in Batesville back in October. In and out in 15 min.
