New Years Day match at Magnolia

Just a reminder for those not planning to kill a bunch of brain cells the night before , there is a USPSA match at Magnolia Jan 1, 2012. It's a great way to start of the New Year with a bang and for those that got new guns over Christmas, the perfect opportunity to try them out.

I am planning on being there. If there weather is really nice like we have been having recently, what about another "Team Magnolia Top Shot" competition after the match? The crowd will probably be a little smaller due to the date so that might make it work pretty well. I have some ideas... I'll run it by John and see what he thinks.

Wouldn't you know it, four Production shooters and they are all "C" class, looks like I've got some competition.

The last classifier match it looked like 90% of the production shooters came out as C. I guess we need another classifier to move some more folks out. I'm just glad jimmy moved to open, maybe I'll stand a chance this time.

As a member of USPSA your Classifier scores for each division are tracked and you are issued a classification based on those scores for that division. They actually send you a wallet sized card each time your classification for any division changes.

The classification system is described at the very beginning of the USPSA Rules Book

Congrats. I was just speaking from experience. Mine were taken in 05. Its better to go ahead and start with a nice jar than trying to upgrade later.
