Does anyone know where you can get shooting goggles that fit over your eyeglasses?

Ordinary shooting glasses don't work in my case since I'm bat blind without my Rx glasses
so a year or so back I came across goggles that would work over eyeglasses but now cannot
find them again!! Help!!!!!!!!!

I work offshore and we also have some over the glasses safety glasses, they are not as bulky as the goggles. I'm not sure if you would be interested but oilfield supply stores have both kind.

wal mart can make lenses that qualify as safety glasses. The ones i have now are close enough, they have survived some nasty stuff and only have a few tiny chip marks.

Scott Goggles has some that fit over glasses, I worn them when I raced motorcycles,but they are gonna be kinda bulky too.

i seen this guy with RX shooting glass that came with three differnt lenses.. yellow, brown, and grey.. im sure they are pricey though = (

You should be able to find an opthamalogist who could make you some prescription safety glasses. If you haven't come up with anything, when I go back to work I will ask the guy who teaches it next door to me about it.

We don't start back until January but if you will pm and remind me I will be happy to ask.

Thank you ALL for the prompt replies, I knew that the MSGO membership would have
good answers, I think I've found what i need.

About prescription shooting glasses, my doc is a master class IPSC shooter himself
so I'll consult him too to ensure that my next Rx for daily use is good for safety use
too.

I have polycarbonate (Lexan) lenses in my everyday glasses which are essentially the same as safety glasses. Cost about $20 extra.

Remember, though, there is no side protection. If I was shooting a lot of steel at close range I might worry a little. I think there are clip-on side shields that attach to your regular earpieces. ( BubbaT can find a link. Smile

Beat me to it. I have to wear safety glasses at work and have been buying from them for over 7 years. I'm partial to Smith and Wesson but they have a vast selection. I've always had good dealings with them.
