Suppressed?

Given the abilities of the "trained" sniper or well diciplined civilian, response times & false alerts... I'd say this system is ineffective at it's stated purpose.

However, it's "unstated" purpose, to drain thousands or millions from bloated Gov't budgets to certain contractors... is pretty damn effective.

I didn't know they needed such a thing in Omaha. Those corn huskers should already safe since, as I understand it, the Nebraska conceled carry laws doesn't apply in the city of Omaha.

Yea, they have had these in several major cities for a couple of years now. IIRC, they are pretty ineffective. IIRC, they were originally tested in NYC and I believe 3 people were shot within 100 yards of one and no one noticed. Have to look it up but someone posted the original tests article here 1 or 2 years ago.
