We didnt meter them but there should be some videos of the cans being shot next to several other heavy players in the can industry. I will buy a dpr can for several reasons: great can, sound quality, the staff (staff haa, more like friends than staff), and supporting my local company.

If you are worried about the sound reduction im sure that they will demo one for you the next time they go out.

I have a .22 coastal and a .30 LRT Coastal. Both are servicable. My ear cannot tell the difference between Coast LRT, YHM, and SD-6. In my opinion bullet flight noise has more of an impact on dB than can per se. RSilvers has posted a graph showing the parabolic curve relationship between bullet velocity and dB. It is supprising what only 100 fps does to teh volume. I see pros and cons in each camp, but I have no regrets.
