New Year's Shooting Resolutions

Post by jbpmidas on Sat Dec 24, 2011 10:30 am

I've got a few.

2012 Purchases:
1. S&W Bodyguard .38 or 442
2. S&W 586/686 4"
3. DPR .223: I haven't decided whether bolt or AR

2012 Competition:
1. Improve 22RF F-Class score and become more consistent
2. Move up from Sharpshooter in CF F-Class
3. Learn to read wind and mirage more reliably

Taking part of your postal matches.
To get a M1 Garand
And to get out of that unlucky Expert Classification at the BDMP and move to Master Classification.
Lets see what will come.

Get five new "youths" involved in the shooting sports!! If we all did this, we would not have to worry about the future of our beloved sport .....

I'm not sure how I'll do it but I accept your challenge. I may have to include a few adult non-shooters in my five. That is a great idea Capt.

I want to add a few more rifles/pistols, finish some projects on my house, and practice my USPSA shooting more. Compete in the MS Classic, and get my CCW permit (and maybe even enhance it thumbs up )

I am planning on joining USPSA and Team Magnolia. I'd like to shoot a FTR with my 308 to try it out as I've never even looked at anything farther than 300 yards. Get a 1911 STI. and a new mouse gun. Improve my pistol and rifle shooting.

Great idea captain! I'll commit to introducing 5 youth (and their parents) to recreational shooting..... And of course picking up another gun or 12 is a revolving resolution that starts over automatically. Just found a chinese SKS w/baonet for CHEAP. Got it. Also found a smith and wesson M&P 15T for not cheap, but I got it anyway. Yes, I got bit by the AR bug. Don't be hate-n AK people. Still get a soft spot for the commie guns......
