national forrest hunting laws

Just wondering if its legal to hunt deer in the national forrest with a high cap shotgun, thanks and happy holidays.the gun is a winny 1200 police 12 guage holds 8 rds,.

As far as I know deer hunting has no restrictions. You can hunt deer with a 30 round magazine out of an a r 15 if you wanted to.

should have taken the 12 guage and be a skin'n instead of typing,real old buck jumped thruogh the lane he was a light silver color,oh well thats why its called hunting.not getting.
