Post by walkiahgunman on Thu 29 Dec 2011 - 11:26

Was piddling around on gunbroker a minute ago and found this:

kinda of cool, plus a hunt with "The Gunny". Would be nice to afford that!

Seriously a bid of $13,000 for a safe queen gun and a chance to shoot with "The Gunny", I don't think so.

I'm not into guns I would be afraid to shoot for fear of marring them and no offense to Gunny, but he's just like any other guy, OK so he's been on TV, big deal.

I would love to have the pistol, and I would shoot it. I am not into 'safe queens,' which is why I would shoot it. So, I guess it is for the better that I cannot afford it. It is still a very pretty pistol!

Why would anyone buy a gun and not shoot it? If I could afford the $13,000 I'd buy it and shoot the hell out it.

I'm sorry, but that has got to be the UGLIEST pistol I've ever seen and they want 13k? I don't care if Michelangelo had carved that pistol that's ridiculous.

It's not what they want, it's what some Jack Wagon has bid.

Looks like lipstick on a pig to me. Don't get me wrong, I love Glocks but that just doesn't look right. I could find other sweet guns to buy for 13k... maybe something along these lines and a few other toys like it.

That's pure ugly. I would rather have this, it's only $7000 and a work of art.

If I was going to spend that kind of money it would be on an old Winchester, Colt SSA or another Parker. I can shoot these all I want and they will still go up in value. bouncing smile

A little rich for my blood. Also don't care for fancy guns as they look crappy with holster wear.
