Captain found some info on my 22 rifle

UMC stands for Uzinale Metalugica Di Copsa its a romainian military trainer. I'm going to clean it up and shoot it some more and see what kinda accuracy its capable of.

Any provision for mounting a scope? And, of course...WE WANT PICTURES. Smile

Don't know about the accuracy we were tired by the time we got to it. We had sighted in my ruger 10/22 and were trying to hit those plates out at 200 yards at Magnolia. We shot it some but didn't try to get a group out of it. Mine is a little different from the one captain posted. Mine was made earlier than that one and has a rear sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation. Its also numbered so you can return to zero. There is the typical picatinny like ridges on the barrel, however; they are forward of the reciever and would make me think a long eye relief would be required. My stock has more character than that one, but it also has a crack in it and my blueing needs to be cleaned up real well. Its nothing real special, I just thought it was a neat gun and a military trainer so I let Captain take a look at it. I will post some pics of it next time I go to my dad's place and get a chance.
