Barrel Break In

Would like to hear how some of you break in (season) a new barrel

I call the manufacturer. Weathersby says on their .257 shoot 1 shot and thoroughly clean with wet patches for the first 10 shots. Then shoot 3 shots and clean for the next 30 rounds. So it takes a total of 40 shots to break in.

Many opinions on this posted in the past... all the way from one shot, clean completely, repeat ad infinitum.... to those who say to just blast away....
