They shouldn't sell badges.
How'd you sneak in a camera? Great Southern Gun Shows go NUTS if they think anyone is filming anything...

Most phones today have cameras built in.

Yeah mine too but no flash...and I've seen people escorted out for shooting photos with a phone.

I will say that I do not like people taking pics of my inventory at gun shows. Just doesnt feel right and I will ask the promoter to have them escorted out of the building.

might be someone sending a pic to a buddy 'saying is this what your looking for'?

you could end up losing a sale.

Maybe I'm not understanding but vendors have their items on display to be sold at a public event. Personally if a vendor don't want photo evidence of their inventory then sounds like the inventory is questionable

(no offense to any of our vendors that have that stance but I just don't know why)

I've taken pictures of a few old, collectible guns that I wanted to research. I always asked first and they had no problem with it.

Internet myth gotta have proof they bought it in the first place to claim it is stolen.

I should have explained my statement a little better.
I have no problem with a person taking a picture of a firearm or two and sending to a buddy or whatever.
My issue is when a person(s) comes in and take pictures of everything in the building and the dealers themselves.
Thats why cameras are typically not allowed. one or two pics of individual items is not a big deal.

More spectators than usual. Same stuff as always. Didn't see any deals. Between Southaven and Batesville, the Batesville show is better.

Kinda looking for a 44mag Bisley Vaquero but only saw a couple of Blackhawks. I'm always looking for a Sig deal. Only saw 2 there. A 250 and a 2022.

I found 5 mags, a holster, and a spare parts kit for my Makarov for $82.00. Not to bad.The two people who went with me didn't buy a thing.

I saw those badges, snickered and walked away.
