AR help near Mooreville??

I have just got my first AR. I'm wanting to change out the plate on the back of the receiver and replace it with a single point sling adapter plate I bought. Problem is, I DON'T KNOW HOW. If anyone close could help I would be greatful. It seems I need a wrench of some sort but I dont want to scratch my rifle. If someone is able to help I'll drive to where you are.. Thanks...

Warning about single points:
They get in the way and flop around a lot, and by flop around I mean flop into your crotch or into your heels. It's nice if it's just for added security, and I do like mine but I wish I'd gone with a 2 point....I'll change it out one day when I have the spare funds.....good slings are far from cheap

Then you need to consider the Magpul single point sling. It goes both way's with a snap, plus doing the backpack. Mine are $54.99 and in stock.

I am in Amory if you can't find anyone closer. I have the wrench.

thats true bout to spend a ton on one and always good to have a smith on your side

I drove about an hour one way and it was well worth the trip! I'll be checking out coming the backroads next time but I'll be back either way. Listening to BeauBeaux talk, I realize he's probably forgot more than I'll ever know about guns but hey, that why you want a good gunsmith right? Great products, great service, great prices. What more could you ask for? Oh yeah, and you want someone that takes the time to explain things so someone like me can understand. He did that too. Hooked me up on my AR today and I'm looking forward to going back to pick up my other rifle and accessories I ordered.

Those barrel's in use on the pistol range are from JBPMidas. He brought them on one of his trips. Thanks again for those and your vote of confidence in the posts.

Work continues to make the place better and more fun plus adding more items in the shop. Got to get the lights put in the display case and expand the shelf space. It's a small shop so have to use the space available to best advantage.
