Sorry to jack the thread...there was such a good opening to jump in

Good topic...I don't particularly wanna store my 411 in da cloud...nor do I wanna store it on a PC....I guess having it in 3 or 4 places makes good sense...

Got me to thinking ...I need to update my "inventory"

A 3 ring binder of s/n and pic's is all I ever really needed..to be honest..

Ya'll carry on....

Good point but if you create a user account with a web based email account and don't enter personal identification information it would be hard for someone to tie the picture back to an individual unless the bad guys have the ability and desire to hunt you down through an ip address.

Someone could steal my 3 ring binder! Then what would I do? lol!

Simplest thing to do is talk pics and then edit by putting text box on pic with all info you want. Save all pics to a folders and name it something really different where you will be the only one to know what it is and password protect it. Burn a couple CDs to store where ever u think it would be safe. Updating if u buy or sell an item as needed. JMO.
