Darn It Boy
One of the guns on my bucket list just showed up when I least expected it. I don't own a .45 caliber pistol or a 1911. I shoot mainly .40 caliber and have been slowly adding one every now and then. I just found a Colt Defender in .40 and the price isn't totally out of sight yet. I've wanted one for quite awhile but they are pretty scarce because I think they only made it one year. I have fondled a few .45's and figured my first .45 1911 would either be the Defender or a Springfield compact. I have a little money in the gun fund but was saving for something else. Wonder why it happens like this. It's going to take a lot of will power not to buy this gun unless it gets crazy high.

Just face it, the list never goes in order. I have one on my list that seems to get pushed further down the list as others come along.

If you have the $, buy it! I have lost many a great guns or goods to the "I'll get it later" mentality! I regret it every time.

I shall quote you all when my wife ask me why I bought another firearm. Very convincing.

Buy It.
@sid, tell her it's an investment for retirement. You can always sell and get your money back and the stock market loses our money everyday it seems.

No bids at 839 plus shipping and transfer fee. It is relisted and I'm watching it again. Still tempted but standing firm right now.

+1 If you buy carefully and take care of them you can always make money on them.

It is the 1911 I've always wanted but I really don't need to drain the fishing fund. I've been saving for fishing season for awhile and the fishing fund is starting to look really good but man this is tempting me. And yes, you are correct. I'm really trying not to buy it.
