kimber ultra carry II

Post by ftsibley on Tue Jan 03, 2012 1:52 pm

i had finally gotten rid of all my kimbers and now another one crossed my desk that was to good to pass on;
kimber ultra carryII with night sites. Has a nice idiot mark on it but rest of it shows very little use.

Looking at the picture I wouldn't have guessed that it was over 2". I didn't think they made a 1911 less that 3".

Nice weapon!
I had a Kimber SS Ultra Carry II. I let someone talk me out of it. Replaced it with a Colt SS Commander. But I sure miss the Kimber.

How's the muzzle flip in the short barreled 1911's? Does anyone know how it compares to the G36?

muzzleflip is noticable but not uncontrollable. Not one your going to want to put 250 rounds through all at once.

It does require a bit more shooting to become comfortable with it in my expirence. As the grip is also shorter it has a little different feel.
