Now, we wait... Form 4 wait times.
Sent off my paperwork on a Silencerco Sparrow II right before Christmas...
http://www.silencerco.com/?section=Products&page=Sparrow
Should be sending off my paperwork on a Shark Precision LLC .338 JAWS within the month. It should transfer to my in state Class III dealer within a few weeks and then we will get the paperwork and $$$ off to the ATF...
http://www.sharksuppressors.com/Catalog.aspx
I hope to have the Sparrow by June or so...
I hope to have the 338 JAWS by August or so...
These are my second and third 'stamps' all done through my NFA Trust.
Both of these cans are take down capable for easy servicing and repair or upgrading the internals later if a better design should appear. The Sparrow can handle all of the rimfire rounds as well as 'very light' centerfire cartridges such as 5.7 x 28 which well make it very versatile for me. The 338 JAWS is an 'over engineered' 338 suppressor that can handle just about anything that will fit down its bore such as the exotic super magnums...
How do y'all like my chances on getting the stamps by my 'expected' dates!?!

Since you are now "in the system".... I would think the wait times would be less.

My first was 5 days short of six months...I say u get it quicker since you have already been reviewed.
A side note - I had a quick question about carrying a copy of your form 4 instead of the original. An ATF person answered the phone on second ring....I asked my question...got the answer I was needing ....done in 30 seconds...I was almost impressed

I wish this were so. I have been waiting since the last week in July for my second, and the 2nd week in August for the third. My dealer called, so happens today, I get all excited for a second, until he said this wasn't, "the call". Just an unrelated matter. The first seemed to take no time though it was about 4 months. Gee, I have almost forgotten what I got. LOL

Just under 6 months seems to be the 'average' time these days...and with more and more people buying Class III items and a smaller staff at ATF those times are LIKELY to go up UNLESS some logical changes are made to the process.
But we all know Gov't and Logic are polar opposites!

I have three out now, one since July. Three more weeks will mark six months and nothing so far...

Sent mine off December 30th. I'm expecting mine by July 1st. I'm already hooked though and am about to order one in 30 caliber. Guessing by the time I get the paper work and money together i'll be around end of august getting it too.

I used Dad's Superpawn for my Sparrow purchase.
I will be using Jerry's Shooting Iron's in O.S. for this transfer and probably a few others in the future. They seem to be GOOD PEOPLE!

One would think that would be the case but it hasn't been with me.

Got a stamp today for a customer. This is his third stamp and it took 5 months and 3 weeks. That seems to be the trend since we got the new inspector.

yes app is in mail! After 01 approval then sot. When I was checking on the name rro, I was amazed to find some dealers using "ordinance" which is a town or city law, lol.SubGunFan wrote:Rebel Rifle Ordnance..... I like the new name. Does that mean you are applying for an 01 FFL.....???

Its worse than you think. We sent in our application for a trade name of Confederate Ordnance and the ATF misspelled it on the paperwork that was sent back to us. It is still not corrected in the database almost a year and a half later!

My last one took 4 months and it was my sixth.... I doubt being in the system already carries much weight.

My first one was three months to the day and the second two were around four months and the last was five months. Now i have been waiting for almost six months on a sbr. Get this...I bought it from out of state and they transfered it to my local dealer her and it only took six days for that transfer. Six days... I kid you not. thats the one I been waiting almost six months for.

They realized they screwed up with the six day thing so now they're going to punish you.
