Ruger Redhawk in 41 mag
I was lucky enough to find the gun I wanted just an hour's drive away. 5.5" ss redhawk in .41 mag in the box. This gun is an '84 model per the SN, and it's in dang good shape. very light cylinder turn lines are the only marks on the gun. I'm happy.

VERY NICE!
IIRC the .41 mag was once heralded as the caliber which was supposedly going to replace the .357mag as a police revolver. Whatever happened to that? Or am I mistaken?

That is a very overlooked round. Handles like a .357 as far as recoil being almost the same and close to the power of the .44. I guess the police had all their money in the 38/357 and the round came out before the companies were making the trades to upgrade LEO inventory. Too bad.
Good looking gun! I've always loved Ruger wheel guns. Toughest out there I believe.

I love the Redhawk. I really kick myself for selling my .44 mag Redhawk. One day I will have to own another one. As for the .41, my brother recently got a S&W .41 mag and loves the thing. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, though.

Scharfschütze,
haven't you noticed the cops don't use revolvers anymore. They shoot each other with Glocks. The JPD had several incidents of officers shooting each other and accidental discharges with Glocks
