MP5/GSG522 22lr rifle

Post by BLK RIFLE on Wed Jan 04, 2012 9:31 pm

I have tried twice to get a post in and haven't made it yet. Can't figure out why. Finally went through so I'll put it in. I bought a MP5/GSG522 rifle today and it looks just like the H & K MP5. Haven't fired it yet but it is really well made. Give a report on it when I finally get some rounds through it.

I've had one of those for a couple of years. It shoots ok and it's reliable but I just haven't been able to get excited about it. I'm more of the blued steel and walnut type. My boys love it though.

Make sure you have the riveted ejector. The pinned on only versions will shoot loose after a while.

I like the one I have. It's about to come up on the market real soon. It's the SD model.

I like mine alright. Tried once to break it down to clean but its pretty intricate. Think I'll just hit it with some brake clean and oil it as best I can.
