Sure wish I had a grand layin around

Post by Hrdnox on Thu Jan 05, 2012 7:20 pm

Because, if I did, that Colt and one of those Winchesters in the classifieds would belong to me. Been some nice and interesting stuff coming through since the first, hasn't there? Drooling over both, but unfortunately, my gun fund is skinned at the moment. Maybe, if I had better sense than to put nearly $600 in a Keltek PF9, I could have something more worthwhile. But, I've got a sweet little pocket gun that shoots 9mm and .22lr and has the cutest little aluminum trigger. Sure hope I never decide to try and sell it, because I'll surely be hosed if I do. confused

Enlighten those of us in the dark. You get a kit for that .22 or did you buy a combo package?

Did you get the Twisted Industries .22 conversion? I've read good things about it.

Yep, that's the one I got, in desert tan to match the gun. Had the kit for a while now and the gun even longer, but still haven't found the chance to shoot either of them. Can't believe I spent almost as much for the kit as I did the gun, however the more unbelievable part is that I spent $44 on a trigger for my little Saturday night special. Oh well, I wanted it and you only go around once, right? Guess I shouldn't feel too bad about the price of the kit, considering it's actually nicer than the gun itself. I really need to get all this stuff out to the range sometime soon.

It looked awful clean. I'll bet it was a nice shooter. Maybe I'll be richer when you decide to let it go.Smile

Classic case of "you snooze, you lose". By the time I saw that Colt in the classifieds, it was already listed as "sale pending." *sigh*
