Funny how the 911 operator told him not to fire at anyone while she was on the phone. How can she know the other guy wasn't coming back?

I think that kid became a man when he knew he was all there was to protect the home. Steady and calm, even to the dispatcher. He was making his on decisions, I don't think he cared what she said.
Can't imagine being put in that spot at 14, he did well.

Fantastic. I feel for the 14 year old, I pray he can put this behind him and realize he did a good job. He should be commended!

He had the presence of mind to make sure the cops didnt shoot him too. Hope he gets some free pst counceling just in case. He did right and protected his family though, so maybe he will not suffer from it.

Hate the kid had to do it but glad he did the right thing and stayed calm. Man i pray i or anyone in my family never has to do that but if we do i hope we can stay level headed and focused like this kid did. good job
