SWGC-Burns Range HP Match Results (1-7-12) & Pictures...
RAIN...... What rain? It was a beautiful day for shooting a 600yd HP match. There was rain, but more on that later.....

Scores subject to verification.................
Congrats to Mr. Henson for putting a MAJOR WOOPIN' on us today. That was some MIGHTY FINE shooting.

The SWGC/Bogue Chitto Hi-Power Clan. Some in this bunch are members of the McComb Mob...........
ALWAYS fun to drive down and shoot with you guys. Mr. Rhoads (aka: The Other Phillip) and Kelly did an EXCELLENT job of running the match. Never a dull moment....

Some of the Magnolia Mob in the pits.... (near to far) DevilDog, michael03a3, and M1GF. This was michael03a3's first 600yd HP match and he had both the "long stare" and a big smile on his face today.

My 200yd Rapid Sitting target. Grouping a little high.........

PhillipM's 200yd Rapid Sitting target.

PhillipM's 300yd Rapid Prone target. This is a KICK-BUTT score.......

My one X today. But I did get it at 600yds......
FYI: The X-ring is 6" diameter on the 600yd target.

And last.......... My score card. The doodle on the notepad shows the scoring marker positions on the target board. If you see the scoring marker in the 5/X position, you want to see a big white hit marker in the middle of the black bull.............
Zink, you missed a GREAT match on a GREAT day..................
Oh yeah, the rain today..... I got a little rain on the way home. But when I got close to home in NE Jackson, it picked up quit a bit. I quickly unloaded my little truck, and just in time. A toad-floater hit my house. It was brief, but HEAVY.................
Shooting 600yds never gets old.................

Great AAR. You should come shoot with the XTC folks at Palo sometime. They shoot on the 3rd Saturday of the Month.

Congrats to Danny Henson, he's a great shooter with a rifle and a camera.
Thanks for taking the pictures, Dan! I sure had fun but couldn't put things together at 600 like I wanted although the 300 (93) is a personal best.
I need to try Palo XTC again when I come up with a cart because they walk down there, I humped it once, no fun!

Perfect weather for this match. Had a great time and improved my score from the previous two matches. Congrats to Mr. Henson on his excellent score. Look forward to the next match. And a big thank you to SGF for posting up pictures and the scores.

Thanks to all who showed up in spite of (because of??) my absence. David R. & the rep. from Team Hello Kitty also deserve a big round of applause for running the match safely & smoothly!!
Special thanks to SGF for the post & photos! Great advertising and I hope more of you guys reading this will come out and try shooting an XTC match at our club. We welcome newcomers & will do our best to get you going in this terrific sport.
Hope y'all can come out next weekend for the M1 and Vintage Bolt matches. I'll post on those separately.
