Taurus TCP 738 $199
Wanted to let everyone know that Taurus is selling the TCP 738 at a lower price right now.
I just picked up a Taurus 738 TCP 380 acp pocket pistol for $199 new from Sportsmans Wharehouse. Taurus is selling them with 1 mag and no zipper case at a lower price.
$213 OTD.
Already have a kel tec P3AT in 380 and did not really need this one, but for that price I figured I would pick it up. And I do have more than 1 pocket
I really like reloading for 380s. It is very cheap with cast lead and is fairly quick to load on my turret press. Now adding this to my Kel Tec and my Makarov, I got 3 pistols in 380. Each one cost me $199 each.
Anyone got any experience on the Taurus TCP 738?

I've been carrying one for a year or so. Traded it away and then bought it back! Trigger's not too bad. Haven't shot it a lot (Duhh) but no issues. Not real accurate, but I didn't expect it to be a target pistol.

Broke it down and cleaned it. Feels really good in the hand and has a really nice trigger

I have probalby sold around 50 or so of those in the past year. I personally like them better than the ruger LCP.
Have not had any complaints on them.

I think they handle better than any of the other plastic framed .380s. I had Shoe's for a little while and it was a great shooter. Didn't think I needed it, so he bought it back. Then, a few weeks ago someone here let one go for a great price, so now I own another one. Haven't shot it yet, but it feels good and I believe it has a slightly smoother trigger than Shoe's did. I may not get to shoot it either, because I have a friend who wants it awful bad. He's planning on taking it off my hands on payday. At that price, there's no doubt it's the best pocket pistol bargain out there. IMHO, that's about what they're worth anyway and that's what all of them would cost had Obama not been elected. I never have understood how Ruger gets $300 + out of their $200 Keltek clone. Sorry, but it ain't that pretty and I still think this is a better gun.

Ummmmm, go to: http://www.msgunowners.com/t5417-my-new-mousegun
I started this thread, “My New Mousegun”, 4/17/10.
It runs about 6 pages and is focused on my TCP 738.
