Legislative wish list.
With the new legislature coming in with new conservative leadership it seems like we have our best chance in my lifetime to date for making positive changes/ cleaning up our state gun laws. What would you like to see changed and how? Also would like to see the best argument we could give explaining to our senators and representatives who may pro gun but not a gun person why this needs to be changed.
But remember we have to stay on our toes, whereas we got some good stuff past a seemingly hostile lead house we can go backward with a friendly one too.

Personally, even though I don't do it, I'd like to see the Open Carry law clarified(and by clarified I mean actually put into words instead of just understanding by a judge), and I think HB506 still needs some cleaning up

Startoff by neutering the state's AG's ability to reward fatcat shyster friends like Dicke
Scruggs by making it illegal for an AG to hire "outside" counsel, if he can't do the job
with the staff he has, hire a few more staff that after all work on salary, not commission
or percentage, then vote Jim the Hood out of office as soon as possible if it isn't possible
to do a recall on that miserable excuse for I don't know what!! The creep even thinks he's
the governor when he tells a sitting governor, "you're not authorized to hire outside counsel" on a given issue yet HE can??

I would like to see MS gain Constitutional Carry, like VT, AK, and AZ. No permit required.

Considering that a lot of what we post here is "preachin to the choir", how can we explain to our elected officials 1. it is a good idea to do
2. it is for their benefit for them to enact it.

Another vote for constitutional carry!
Short of that, I also would like to see the open carry thing clarified. The simplest way to do it would be to remove the words "or in part" from the statute that prohibits CC.
