Greetings from revreb15miss
I don't remember if I said hello when I joined, so I'll do so now. My wife and I just got our concealed carry permits. The final motivating factor was when my step-son was
robbed at gunpoint while delivering Pizza for Domino's here in Grenada. Thankfully, he was unharmed. Both of the goblins (Col. Jeff Coopers phrase) were wearing blue bandanas, the one that was armed had a long gun of some type. Case still unsolved, no arrests made yet. Am following the advise of a friend who told me, "If you know how many guns you have, you don't have enough guns." I respect friends who have semi-auto handguns, I just like revolvers. And lots of speedloaders. And Lots of ammo. A 55 round bandoleer for my 12 ga. shotguns, loaded. Hope that gives you an idea of who I am. A friend back in Alabama who was a retired State Trooper once told me that a 12 ga. deer slug makes a good anti-personnel round. I was born in the Socialist Republic of Illinois, but I've prayed and asked God for forgiveness.
Grew up on a farm in the house where my father was born, a mile and a half from a town of 500 people. Moved to the Promised Land back in 1987. My mom was born in Alabama, her father in Meridian and her mother in Little Rock, Arkansas. Glad to be here in Mississippi, and glad a friend told me about this forum.
