Husqvarna Model 55

Post by 22lrfan on Wed 11 Jan 2012 - 23:01

I'm in the process of taking pictures of all my guns for inventory purposes. This is one you don't see very often so I decided to post it on here. It's a Husqvarna Model 55 single-shot .22 with a 24" octagon barrel. It was made in the 1920's and is in great condition for it's age. The serrated piece at the rear of the bolt is the cocking piece and the bar with the two round ends on the left side of the receiver is the safety.

Nice rifle. That action looks military. What is it modeled on or is it?

It's not modeled on one that I know of but Husqvara was making military rifles back then.
