Little Red Riding Hood

Post by Caleb C on Fri Jan 13, 2012 7:52 am

This is one of the very first pistols that we coated. It was woodland tan but the finish was starting to look really bad. It was done back before we had all of the bugs worked out of the process. I refinished it the other day in Duracoat stock red with a gloss clear coat. I though it turned out pretty good. “Why would anybody want a red Kel Tec?” you ask. Why not?

I’m thinking of coating the frame as well. May be diamond plate silver? What do ya’ll think? What would look good with the red?

The upper part of the frame white. And the grip & trigger guard blue.

If you drop it in the woods you can probably find it...

you paint it red because it is an SD gun... and the red infers to the one it is being pointed at.. that they be experiencing blood run soon.

I like the red and black
