Laser stabilization

Post by jdrink on Fri Jan 13, 2012 6:55 pm

I have a question for the group. I just bought a laser (laserlyte FSL-3) for my wife's new P-22. I was out getting it sighted in this afternoon, and just as i was finishing up, it appears the laser "jumped" about 12 inches to the right (at 15 yards) on my last shot. Has anyone else had this happen, is there anything I can do to help it stay on target. Doesn't do much good if it won't stay in alignment.

Loc-tite is your friend.

Anything mounted on a gun by screws will become "loose" under recoil. I have had scopes suddenly develop a case of "wandering zero" followed by the scope and mount falling off the gun completely.
