Savage barrels and actions

Will a barrel from a Savage Model 10 work on a Model 12 action and vice-versa? If one was a .223 and the other a .308, all that would be needed was the bolt, right?

Any small shank savage 1.062 thread will fit any other small shank receiver
Any large shank savage 1.125 thread will fit any other large shank savage receiver
All that would be needed is bolt head last one I bought was 18 dollars from gun parts Corp but midway has them also
