What kind of sights for my new xdm-9

Hey guys I got a XDM-9 yesterday , I want to put a fiber optic sight on the front . I heard that some sights are better for close up and some are better for far away . I want a sight that does both, any reccomendations ? I was thinkin of leaving the stock rear sights on.

U shooting this gun in competiton? I'm assuming so.

I'd suggest pm'ing Cliff. Betcha, He knows something good to put on there and has someone who can do it for ya!

My front siight is black and I've been thinking about a fiber optic myself...I need all the help I can get...

Yeah I plan on competing with it ,I have been using my 1911 and I painted the front sights on it orange but i dont want to do that w/ my new pistol.

I've used finger nail polish before...You can take it off with remover.

So you gonna move down to minor with 9mm?....whatever it takes to get A's thumbs up

Yeah that what i use too.....my wife ain't too happy about it either. Changin guns cause I spent 90 dollars last match on ammo I can get 9mm for 9.00 a box so that means more practice too !

Yeah I hear ya in ammo costs...need to reload those 45's

So far the wife has not hassled me too much about the ammo buys...its everything else I buy.....

send a msg to Cliff Cargill on what He recommends front sight wise...he might have ya swap front and rear out

Pistolgear.com has a good selection. WHen it comes down to USPSA I dont care about what sights I have much, but many folks reccomend a fiber optic front sight. I like warren tactical...I think they make xdm sights.
