I would be excited to. Beautiful weapon, got to hold my first one of those at a pawn shop last week. It has the best trigger I have ever felt on a pistol.

Those triggers are sick! This one is set kinda heavy at 2 3/4 lb simply becaseu I am coming from a Glock wih a 3.5 lb trigger. I don't want to jump straight to a 2 lb trigger and start having AD's during a match.

They can be custom built in .45 or even bought in factory configuration (without the lightening cuts) in .45, too, but it is not common. .40 is most common for iron sighted guns due to competition rules, although 9mm's are growing now for three gun, like the one pictured. With red dot sights, 9mm and .38 Super or one its rimless variations are most common.

www.stiguns.com is the largest manufacturer of guns, frames, and parts, but there are others (SV Infinity, Barsto, Fusion, and SPS of Spain all make frames on this patent)
