Scope for Squirrel Rifle

Scope for Squirrel Rifle
I'm working on a new Squirrel Rifle and need a scope for it. I've decided to go the Mil Dot route so I can rangefind with it. My only experience with a Mil Dot scope was a Unertl 10X fixed power. I was hoping to find a variable power scope in the 2.5-10X40 range. My goto optic has always been Leupold but none of their scopes are etched in the first focal plane. I would like to be able to use the Mil Dots at whatever power I happen to have be at when I see a squirrel.
Does anyone know of a scope that is close to what I've described?

Almost all of the FFP scopes that I see are VERY expensive. Leupold does make FFP scopes, here's one you might like: http://goo.gl/KH0FV
As you can see, it's pricey. The only affordable FFP mil dot scope I've run across is a little out of your preferred magnification range, but I don't know you might like it ok. It's made by Firefield, so not the highest quality probably but the recoil of a .22 shouldn't give you any trouble. I was actually thinking about trying this out on my AK in 7.62x39 just because I love the 1-6x range. Here's the link: http://goo.gl/nDIZS.
You may not want to go either route that I've linked, but I hope it helps. Also, FWIW, unless you're going to be attempting headshots on squirrels past 100 yards, you probably won't need to determine your range, and doing so might prove difficult since the critters tend to move pretty quickly. Just my two cents, hope you find something you like.

As of right now I am going with theses guys.

Not a lot of web reviews but all have been favorable. I won't have exactly what I want but I can't spend $1500 on a scope to play with. If I were LE and had a need it would be different.

Is this a first or second focal plane reticle. The website doesn't say so I'm assuming it is second focal plane.
