A guy walks into a gunshop...

Post by Eaglestroker on Thu Jan 19, 2012 9:16 pm

I feel like Joe lately sniffing out good deals. This mint '65 336RC in 35 Rem followed me home today. I guess worse things could happen.

Beautiful!!! drool drool I didn't know they had things like that in N MS. I've got to figure out a reason to get up there.

Who knew? Since I've known what to look for I've been surprised what has shown it's head. Thing is there are only 4 shops that I'm aware of in DeSoto worth anything when it comes to used stuff.

Thanks! This is my first 'exotic' caliber. Went to buy a box of ammo and couldn't find one. Burns me up to own a gun and not at least have a box of ammo.

Reloading is the way to go with a .35. You can load cast 158gr .357 bullets for plinking.

I'll get around to it eventually, Joe had mentioned that about the .357 bullets. I honestly didn't need a new caliber but it was just too nice to leave on the rack with the deal he made me.

If it's going to be such a problem having another caliber I'm sure there's a couple of guys in Jackson that would take that problem off your hands.

Joe already offered! This one isn't leaving unless I get a heck of a trade offer. I like it.

I need another half dozen plus a few suitcases of accessories before that's a level playing field Mike. Sure wanted that 22 Weasel had hiding in the floor next to the rack though....

Ha. I was eye-balling that one too. Hoped you didn't see it. oh well.

PS: They got that bike tuned next door. Some guy paid Harley to fix it a couple of times already, but Steve fixed him up.
