Those Bonnie and Clyde Guns

I couldnt find the original thread but it was about the Thompson and the 12 gauge that belonged to Bonnie and Clyde. The link in the original thread said they expected to get 25,000 at auction for the Thompson, I think we all agreed it would be a lot more. The Thompson went for $130,000.

Fella must have been a B&C fanatic to bid those prices. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't someone from that museum near Rustin LA (not sure of the exact location) or some other place, maybe Chicago that had a museum with B&C and Dellinger stuff. Guess would be Chicago just by money brought in.

Article said they had been in a police museum in Springfield, Mo. since 1973. I lived there from 1956 until 1991, family still does. Never heard of a "police museum".

notice they "think" they were their guns.

I remember reading that those guns got burned in a house or building fire some time ago.......
