I found some 70 caliber lead balls at Cabela's and made a bunch of Monkey Fist key rings out of them one Christmas.

I mostly crown knot like your first pic, but the fun is in the variations and putting different things together.

$20 for this one. Also have a few made up in the green color. Yes I tied it like the guy in that video. I also have tied some up with a box knot several layers long.

No problem. Will post up pics of others. I made one at work and everybody wanted one instantly. I only ordered 10 of the steel balls so I only have 2 left. I am going to order more soon.

Here is my latest creation. Gonna order 10 more balls on Monday. I've been tying these up for a few days now. gotta make a maroon and gold FSU one and a USM one. So gonna have to make a cord run and get some different colors. I got a bunch of left over short pieces I'll make zipper pulls and knife holder thingys.

I'll give it a go. Tell me how long the sling needs to be. I don't have orange yet or the swivels so you'll have to tell me what kind of swivels to use.

That sling looks pretty basic. I think I could pull that off. Hollis I'll look for orange monday. I'll let you know if I need it.

So as far as orders goes
hollis 1 black and orange fist possibly a sling
newto228 you want anything?

Um damn. Since you are twisting my arm, I have a Gerber LMF II knife that could use a lanyard in black and let's do a black monkey's fist like you had up there also in black. If you can make a sling like what's pictured with adjustability, I will be in for at least one.

Ill just take the monkey fist for now. what is a good price for the colored paracord? think they sell it either 50' or 100' packs down south at a Army/Navy store in Goula.

I was buying my paracord from that Army/Navy store in Goula. I want to say it was $3.99 for 50' and $7.99 for 100'. I may be a $1 short on that, and they only had black and white in the 100' last time. When I get home I'll dig up my receipts to find out for sure.
