Clash Of Metal, Man-vs- Man Steel At Magnolia Rifle & Pistol Club This Saturday, Jan. 28th.

2 shooting boxes

5 pieces of steel counting 1 popper that is crossed for tie breaker

Open & Limited, no Rimfire.

We will do elimination by best 2 out of 3. Once a shooter has 3 losses on their card they do not advance. This format is done by handicap. In other words, if a newer shooter is going against a more experienced one they'll have to knock down fewer targets.

This is drag racing with guns!

$5.00 entry fee and the match is 4th Saturday of every month. Set-up starts @ 7:30.... Match will begin @ 8:30.

Supposed to be off Saturday...will be packing range bag soon...guess I'll run the 4" XD this weekend...if it weren't for me it'd do alright...lol. Still need to get those TFO sights on her or just replace the front with fiber optic red.

Woo - Hoo !!! I'm in !!! After two weeks with no match about time. Even if the only thing I hit is the start button on the horn with my finger. Maybe I should be like Sanders and say " be gentle, it's my first time" ? Anyway, who all is in ?

Whats the normal round count?

Depends on how long you last - at a minimum you got 3 different runs. If you lost in two runs each time you would only need about 40 rounds. If you hang in to the end you could easlily need 125 rounds. I don't think I've ever needed more than about 75 but always bring extra

Guess I'll also be shooting my smokey lead reloads Ha. Haven't had a chance to load any others. Bummer.

Anyone who has not tried it before should come on out. It's a lot of fun.

I'm gonna try to make it. Gonna have a long friday night at the Jeff Dunham show in southaven and then I'll have to be up at 5am to make it in time.

I've heard that someone sells bullets at some of the matches, is anyone gonna have any at this one.

The person selling the reloading stuff is Tom Duchmann and he only comes up for the USPSA matches and the next one is Feb 5. Best to give Tom a call at (504) 458-0093 and have him bring up what you need or else he may not have it.

Yep enjoyed it, all the way up until the point we started shooting strong/weak hand.......I could shoot better with my foot than that.
