Don't think it's been actually released for sale yet. That's kind of how keltec does things. Except this is actually a desirable gun to a lot of folks.

Yup not as usuall Keltec not able to meet demand and on a very slow production run. I've been searching for this lil jewel too and they are going for $2K plus on gun broker for the few that have been put to market. I dont need to be first in line so I'll wait.

Mississippi Auto Arms in Oxford has one. Well they did a couple days ago, who knows now. They already sold one for bank on gunbroker, so I don't know what they have there's listed for. I was also told that current KSG's have feeding problems and are undergoing a slight redesign before more are made, but KelTec has an awesome warranty, so even if your's is a dud they'll make it right.

They're out and currently the only place I've seen them is auction sites and they are selling over $1,000. I want one too, but they aren't worth that.

I looked at them at the SHOT show last week and they do seem pretty nice. Not sure where production is but the guy from Keltec said they hoped to get production UP to 500-600 per week. (not a lot). But he said they now had the PM-30 up to 300 units per week on average (again, not a lot).

Later,

At Shot Show 2011, KelTec said the KSG was done and ready to start shipping within 30 days, but there was a change made and they didn't start shipping them until late 2011. The final model held 2 fewer rounds than the one they promoted at Shot Show 2011. We received 4 of the first 300 that were made and one of the four is already back to KelTec because it broke the first time at the range.

We have a sold one in the store if anyone wants to come hold one. If I was considering purchasing a KSG, I would wait until KelTec makes them feed flawlessly or until someone makes a better version of it.

I'm with ya on this one, 'neck - I'll let them work out the bugs, then find one that some mall ninja bought for the coolness factor for x000.00, and buy it from him for x00.00, if you know what I mean... Wink

It will probably be 3 years before you can actually find one anyway. I do not believe their press reports about production numbers at all. I rarely miss a gunshow and i have seen ONE pmr 30 and it wasnt for sale.

I handled the one at MS Auto Arms. It did seem well made, but when I shouldered it my cheek bone was resting directly on the steel stock. I wonder what buckshot would feel like with a good cheek weld?

Probably about the same as how my real light Remington single shot feels ... Not good. It will def rattle your teeth. I slipped a 3in slug in and handed it to my cousin, he thought the gun blew up it hit so hard.

My Kel-Tec Sub 2000 has that same issue. There is an aftermarket rubber piece you can get cheap and put it on the Sub 2000 that fixes that issue, I'm sure they will have something similar for the KSG soon.

They already do. There's a guy on thektog.org selling them. Must've overpaid for one and decided to try and make some to get some money back!
