Might Be Heading to Ohio

And from looking at the map Ohio is the only state not to honor my MS handgun permit. Anybody know what it will take for me to be legal carrying to Ohio. Anybody traveled there and have any need to know information would be appreciated.

No idea why this showed up twice. Been lookig at Ohio laws just to see how I can stay out of jail over a firearms violation but haven't came up with what I'm looking for.

I know I can't carry my handgun loaded in Ohio but can I be in possession of a unloaded gun. The way I'm reading is that if the gun is unloaded and in a case seperate from the ammunition it is legal to have with me but I can't conceal carry. Anybody want to correct me or is that right.

I went there last weekend. Yes you can have it in a case in the car. I did. Ohio does require you to inform the officer should you get pulled over. I took my pistol, unloaded under the seat and the mag in the center console. never got stopped, never had a problem.
