What Would We Call This Guy in MS
A friend sent this to me today.
You may have heard on the news about a southern California man put under 72-hour psychiatric observation when it was found he owned 100 guns and allegedly had (by rough estimate) 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel.
My favorite quote from the dimwit television reporter: "Wow! He has about a quarter million machine gun bullets." The headline referred to it as a "massive weapons cache!"
By southern California standards someone owning 100 guns and 100,000 rounds of ammo would be called "mentally unstable." Just imagine if he lived elsewhere:
In Arizona , he'd be called "an avid gun collector."
In Texas , he'd be called "a novice gun collector."
In Utah , he'd be called "moderately well prepared," but they'd probably reserve judgment until they
made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food.
In Montana , he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy."
In Idaho , he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate."
In Wyoming , he'd be called "an eligible bachelor."
And, in Louisiana , he would be called "a deer hunting buddy."
What would he be called in MS???

Wonder what caused them to search his house in the first place? Sure hope it wasn't just because he owned a large number of firearms, because unless I'm wrong, it's still legal even in Kommiefornia.
Oh and in MS I'd call him an "Average Joe"

Sadly under ammo'd. 100,000 rounds / 100 guns is only 1000 rounds per gun. I guess I would be forked.... I have at least 1.5k per gun. (but I dont have 100 guns)

Don't you just LOVE the way they do these news reports on "gun nuts" with "thousands" of rounds of ammo?
Hell, one brick of .22's is 500!
I've got probably 15 bricks of .22's on the closet shelf, so just by that standard I've got......
(wait for it...)
7,500 ROUNDS!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!
