redfield one piece bar m1 carbine mount

any one ever heard or seen one of these???? i found three of them in a box of my grandads stuff, comes complete with deflector shield under the botom of the bar, by directions it only looks as if one tap hole needs to be made.......... i have an old steel tube 3x weaver that just may find a home on one of my lesser m1s now.......

Sounds like it would be a blast to have a scope on it. Never seen one of the Redfield mounts.

Not familiar with them; however, no holes will be drileld in any of my vintage carbines .... a commerical model, I may would be interested.

Never seen the Redfield mount, but have seen a no drill mount for the carbine, you have to take the rear sight off to mount it.

Use a tool to remove the rear sight, the dovetails have been known to break.
