A few ?'s for MK II owners.
I finally acquired a .22 pistol, a Ruger MK II and
I have a few questions to ask if you don't mind.
What do they call that small spring under the firing pin(rebound)?
When you pull the bolt back is it one smooth pull, this one feels like a 2 stage spring??
Who makes a rail that is cut so factory irons work, and this one has a 4.5" barrel with a pinned front sight, and I was wanting to install a fiber optic(any suggestions).
That should get me started. .LOL.
Pictures coming, and I appreciate the help.

Midway has 22 listed and most don't require removal of the rear sight. There are a lot of upgrades for yur new pistol but most are not needed as your MKII is pretty darn good right out of the box. I installed an extended mag release and slide release just to make a few things easier.
I don't understand your spring question. Maybe you should pm Doug Bowser. He has considerable experience with the MKI and MKII.

Re: A few ?'s for MK II owners.
Thanks for the links shooter, I've looked at most of those rails, but what I'm wanting is one that lets me use the irons also. It would need a groove cut lengthwise down the rail and most of them look solid. Hi viz shows one sight with interchangeable tubes., I think I want something a little more robust, I wish the made the TFO' s but didn't see them. When I pull back on the bolt it's not one consistent pull all the way back, if feels like 2 different weight pulls, with the second half being a little harder then the first , even when it's already cocked .
