Jackson Residents -Citizens Police Academy

JACKSON

Citizens Police Academy set

Jackson residents who want to learn about the various divisions within the Jackson Police Department can sign up for the Citizens Police Academy Feb. 6-13.

The academy runs after hours and during the weekend to accommodate working people who want to participate.

Areas participants will be exposed to the 911 Communications Center, Investigations, the Firing Range and the Police Training Academy.

The goal is to provide opportunities for citizens to understand the Police Department and how it carries out its missions of public safety and crime prevention.
To enroll, call (601) 960-1389.
I went through this last year, it's free and they do it twice/year. Learned a few things and enjoyed it, especially getting to shoot an M4 and MP5 in the pouring rain at the police range.

Gimme a free pass and i can take care of alot of the problems Smile

Its crazy what goes on in jacktown at 3 and 4 am.
Theres more people on the street then than in most city parades.
