Seems like a lot of people are talking bad about Para's so I have to throw my two cents in. I think most of the bad reputation comes from some of the cheap internals that come in a stock Para. They are ok for normal use but can't stand up to competitive use (10K+ rounds / year) and they aren't capable of holding a fine trigger job (2.5lbs or less) for long. I'm not sure why this makes Para1 worse than any other guns because most guns don't meet this standard.

I have a Limited gun built on a Para 16-40 frame at the house that is very similar to this one. It was/is pretty common to replace most of the Para internals with aftermarket parts that were stronger and more reliable, which is what Griff seems to have done w/ this gun. Just from the pics the hammer, trigger, and sights have been replaced (that looks like a Bomar rear or a copy), magwell added, etc. I can't tell about barrel and bushing but I think it looks like a really nice gun, the price is good, and it should be 100% competitive in Limited provided it shoots well and there's nothing wrong with it that can't be seen from the pics. I'm just saying it's definitely worth checking out and you shouldn't let the nay-sayers dissuade you.
