Blazer is definitely value loaded ammo

Post by racine on Mon 6 Feb 2012 - 19:05

I used to buy this by the thousands in 40 and 45acp and never had any problems like I've seen with the WWB. They always went bang and never appeared dirty. The primary reason for my use was I didn't realize what reloading cost, and that Blazer Aluminum cases cost $7-8/ box. 9mm cost $6/box and that was just cheaper than anything else. No problems for me out of my Glock, ParaO or Star Firestar 40.

I had a friend to come over earlier today, an x coworker. He had a dinem shirt on with 9mm headstamp aluminum buttons.
He said he plunged the berdan primers out. Cut the case down, sanded it up prutty, sewed it to the shirt and replaced the primer.
Guess I'll look the range over for some brass and aluminum cases.

If you're not reloading, other cases are a waste of time for the rest of us.

We used it for bi-monthly qualification for years without any problems. Mainly 9mm out of 92Fs and S&Ws. Our Department was over 9,000 strong. We only used factory duty ammo twice a year due to the cost involved.
