I've got one on my 7.5" . Before I installed the pig, I could feel the muzzle blast kicking back up from the ground.

May need one on my 7". Foam ear plugs alone are not enough, it's like shooting a .357 magnum with just foam plugs.

It does help with noise for the shooter and folks beside you.

Obligatory photo...

I have heard it helps with the BOOM but I have never tried one.

Replaced the muzzel brake on a post ban BMI (pinned). Before the switch it was very loud and directed the blast back. Now it is very similar to shooting my 20 inch DPMS/ with very little recoil/and to this shooter reduced muzzel blast.

Ever tried them on a 16" to see if theres a noticable differencein muzzle flip and flash?
From what ive read it was designed for SBRs to help keep the pressure up for morereliably action cycling and keep the blast away from the shooter and shooters to the side.

I have one on my 7.5 SBR. Never shot it without it so I guess I'm no help.

mine started life as a 16 inch, but was cut down prior to installing the kx3 (16.25 inches over all, including the kx3). have had zero problems with it, it is a pleasure to shoot.

I had a KX3 on my 7" sbr. Took it to the range for one range session and sold it after. For over $100 new it was no more effective than the Phantom that I used before and still use now. I found the KX3 to be nothing more than a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. To boot, it's longer than a standard muzzle break and made my little rifle seem front heavy, may have been psycosematic though. I tell people to save their money.

It makes a world of difference in sound with it on. i will not shoot my 7.5 without it. But it is a flaming pig for sure. gotta love that fireball at night.
