how come the NRA claims to be fighting tooth and nail against this sort of stuff, and doesn't do anything (like a commercial) to combat it?

it doesn't help to preach to the choir (already members of the NRA) in order to spread the concept of firearm freedom

I doubt that that a TV network would accept an NRA ad---but it might this year since it's Fox.

I think NRA money can be better spent. I don't think Superbowl ads are worth the cost. A very few are memorable. Of late, the ads are so bizarre that you can't even be sure what product or service they are advertising.

I suspect that the NFL would never accept an NRA commercial
but Blooming idiot and his buds likely got this one for free as
a "public service announcement"!!

Ya'lls president is gonna come out with a ban if he gets re-elected I bet. He won't have anything to loose if he gets four more years. So talk to the people you know, we don't need another four years of this cat!

It says it's not going to air nationally, just in the northeast. I wonder why they're not airing it in the South and out west? thinking

Fox and the NFL probably realize that if they aired it outside the
uber liberal NE, they both risk seriously losing hard won viewers
and the NFL is too money hungry to risk that and so is Fox once
they've gotten to the top in cable news and prorgams.
