Not knocking your Maadi, but..........
Is the front sight post square with the rear sight? I had a Maadi that was not....
With that stock, does it mount using the standard grip screw location and does it have the upper tang (and screw) for a typical AK stock? I have an AK grip and stock if you are interested.

That grip screw lug piece and the original grip screw should be easy to find. Looks like the upper tang is there.
Hey, I see a full-auto sear in there....... Just kidding....

Re: My New MAADI EGYPTIAN AK
You have a Madi that was imported during the AWB and that stock is on there to comply with Federal 922r import regulations.
I'm betting you don't have a bayonet lug and the muzzle either has the threads milled off or there's a protective cap welded onto the end to cover the threads.

Before you run afoul of Federal gun laws by installing a pistol grip, please replace enough parts with U.S. made ones to reach the required number for your gun. Here's the link to the 922r worksheet to keep your AK legal. The end of the awb, (Assault Weapon Ban), has no bearing on 922r and the AK's features. http://gunwiki.net/Gunwiki/BuildAkVerifyCompliance
