Pistol Grip

Can I legally buy a pistol grip for any of my shotguns? I won't be 21 until next month.

Yes, you should be fine. The regulations come into play when creating a short barrel shotgun.

Sounds like he was more worried about a pistol grip making it into a "pistol." I could be wrong but shotguns are a whole different animal.
Even if that were the case you would still be fine, because it is perfectly legal for anyone 18 or older to own a pistol....you just can't carry one(on your person, vehicle is still perfectly legal), and you can't buy one.
There are a lot of laws comparable to that...like underage drinking....it's not illegal for someone under 21 to be drunk, just buy/posses the alcohol.
