That was the second Outlaw Steel match after the former Match Director vacated the program and we were trying to salvage what was left and move forward. Who knows, I may get out there and shoot just for the experience. Better dress up like Jabba the Hut if you intend to survive 33 mph north wind.

Did someone say hot biscuits???? I am probably going to hit the Mickey D's for a hot biscuit beforehand. Anyone else want to meet before the match, let me know!

Once we got started the weather seemed to go to the back of the line of concerns...everyone helped with set-up and breakdown to nth degree and help on the lines was exceptional...I got to run my 4" 686-3 again finally...and give a thumbs up to those who helped with brass and speedloader pick-up...(those 20 year old Safariland speedloaders still work just fine...)

You're right, everyone did really well with set-up & tear-down. Cool on the wheel-gun...glad you're bringing it to ICORE next week. All you semi folks can come get some trigger time next Sunday with us.

Scott should have scores out soon.

Stopped by and visited before the match ... bunch of bundled-up guys and gals -- Yes, I did say gals; they braved the elements, too!!

I'm a newbie here and I just joined Magnolia range. It seems that either work or Guard weekend falls when y'all get together. Is anyone retired or off during the week that's wants to help a newbie out?

I am missing 2 S&W M&P magazines with the old style base plate (round retainer) one has "1" and the other "3" written on the base plate. Any help would be appreciated.

I think I may have lost them where stage 5 of the steel match was

James I was back on the back 40 Sat afternoon (after the match where stage 5 was located) and did not see them on the ground anywhere. Someone must have picked them up.

Paul... it was great to have you. For me it's an added bonus to have another shooter from La to attend. Come back and shoot with us it was a pleasure.
