Re: Man Shoots Himself in Head --
One of my favorite quotes from one of those Greek philosophers:
See, this guy taught the woman an important lesson.
Of course, it taught him the lesson, too, but a little too late. He will never get a chance to use what he learned.
PS: This story just proves again that guns don't kill people. People kill people---sometimes themselves.
Experience is a harsh teacher: First it gives you the test; then it teaches you the lesson.

I was rendered momentarily speechless, dumbfounded by such a DA. Can't really say more than what's already been said but I'll +1 Doug on his observation. And if there are, keep 'em away from anything more dangerous than rubber bands and spitballs.

I was going to add to this but I can't stop shaking my head. Only two of my daughters are really old enough but all three know which end don't go where. I guess she was too impressed with his whatever it was he was doing(sure as heck-decided to sweeten it- wasn't teaching) to tell him to simply stop as she ran out the door. Guns and alcohol, drugs, fools, Immature people and horsing around don't mix. You work with not play with guns. They are to be respected as a tool and cared for as a friend 'cause we all need our friends sooner or later...Hope this goes over okay

Hate to hear that.. Man you know sometimes I think that a person can get a little over confident with thier guns.. They think they know the gun inside and out and forget the basics of firearm safety.. But never would I intentially point it at my head..

His girlfriend caught him cheating and made it look like an accident.

I guess I missed that class...last time I checked, pointing a gun to your head wasn't included in the safety instructions.

It's probably a good thing that this one is no longer in the gene pool. Hopefully he and his girlfriend didn't have an opportunity to breed before this little incident.
