Post by 45man on Tue Mar 13, 2012 12:55 am

Does anyone have any dealings with this scope? How true are the different turret's for the different bullet weight's? Over-all Good or Bad ? Any and all input is appreciated.

Haven't tried the "new" side parallax models, but the front AO models are very good. Have two 6x18 models, very clear and the adjustments are repeatable. The turrents are not exact because I use sub-sonic ammo not HV. Optics are very clear. Check NatchezSS for the best prices.

I have nothing but praise for these scopes.

I used one for silhouette shooting for a while, but changed it due to needing more power. I never had a problem once it was setup with 40gr Wolf. It was a little different, but I wrote down the marks and it was fine. It wasn't intended for target ammo I guess. It got "clicked" a bunch and would still hold zero when I removed it.

I have an 8 x 32 only used on a 22 rifle that has had something slip inside. I can see clear as a bell for 20', then it's nothing but a blur. $100 gone and a waste of my time.

One of our juniors had one and it was dismal. I recommend the tasco 2.5x10X X42mm Tactical Varmint from Natchez Shooters Supply. $54.00 and they give you a pair of binoculars as a bonus.

I have a 3-9x40mm on my 10/22. My son and I enjoy shooting 12ga shotgun shells at 100yards off a sandbag/shooting table at the sandpit. Good scope for a 22. sniper

Another really good brand in that price range is Mueller. They love them at RFC. Like someone said the highest power magnifications arent that clear.
